Bulbtronics’ Lens Inspection System uses the high intensity white arc light of a 75 watt xenon bulb to quickly and easily check for striae, bubbles, scratches or imperfections that result from improper “cooking” or “cooling” in molds.  Our customers use the system to QC plastic and glass ophthalmic lenses, plate glass, plastic sheet goods, molds and film materials. The high intensity light also makes it easy to locate optical reference points in progressive bifocal and trifocal lenses. Bulbtronics has been selling this unit since 1994 and all of our customers who have purchased it have been very satisfied with it!

The System’s power supply, located in the 2” high base, and the lamp housing, are small, lightweight and compact for easy portability and ideally suited for desktop use. The height and projection direction of the lamp housing is easily adjustable by loosening a knob. While the light is normally projected down onto the base, it can also be turned clockwise 90 degrees to allow horizontal projection onto a vertical screen.

Specifications:
Base Dimensions: 9.5”W x 12"D x 2"W
Lamp Housing Dimensions: 4.5”W x 8”D x 5”H
Vertical Support: 17” H, Adjustable
Weight:  8.2 lbs (net)

Electrical Requirements:
Unit uses 115V which requires a 75 Watt Xenon Arc Bulb
